It is excellent idea to translate anecdotes from Russian to English. Probably due to the difference of cultures foreign people will not find them funny, yet it is a good practice anyhow. Yesterday I collected my photos for visa from the photoshop. Whatching my own pictures I was absolutely disappointed; I looked like somebody else. In a word, it was difficult to call those photos perfect. That time I suddenly remembered my favorite anecdote about Rhinoceros and Monkey.

Rhinoceros, looking at his own reflection in a mirror, said: I will never believe that there are such a awful, abominable, disgusting creatures in the world. Monkey that was standing behind him replied: O'kay Phinny, I have two bad news for you. First of all, suah a terrible, horrible, ugly creatures exactly exist in the world. What worse, you are definetely one of them.

I was very busy yesterday. Despite of the fact, that it was a day off, I had a lot of thing to be done.

Firstly, I called the company that sold some educational equipment in order to figery out the price of one device, that could replace an interactive board in a class room.

I had called them before and they said that they would call me back next day bit they didn't. So I called hem yesterday anв finally figured out the price. I wish I had this device in order to show it for schools.

Secondly, I called BKC IELTS Centre to confirm my registration to exam. I take IELTS again 17-th of November.

Thirdly, I went to school 117 in order to complete my course for teachers. They wanted to know how to operate with interactive board. 

I was absolutely exhausted after I had finishrd my lessons. My courses are very demanding things. They tale all my energy in the usual course of events.

Finally I came home, took a dog for a walk. I went to bed at 11 o'klock in the evening.

It was a very long and busy day.

Hello!

I've decided to write this post to share my thoughts with you. The situation isn't easy at rhe moment. The problem is I started a few new directions of my busines a while ago. Now they all demand an enormous attention and efforts.

First of all I created a new web-site for providing some photoservices. The site got popular almost immediately and now I have telephone rings and photobooks desidn orders from time to time. It's important to develop this site, add new atricles with products and services description. I should add new material in the site at least every other day.

Secondly, my new project of providing hosting and site create and develop services for schools. I've bought a Personal hosting from Agava and now I share it betveen schools who wants to have not too expensive but reliable hosting for their sites. Now I send some contracts for signing. So now I could call myself a hosting company.

Therdly, I've started learning how to write a software programms using Java. Today I have installed everything I need for it. It wasn't very difficult. Tomorrow I'm going to watch first video lesson about how to create the simpliest programm on Java.

The last but not least, I should study English every day. Now I apy less attantion to it. I should restore my English learning schedule. I used to spend about two hours a day to learning earlyer . It was good. Now things are different.

It is better to study a lot of subjects at school or to choose one to concentrate deeply.

There are two controversial opinion of studying school subjects.

No one can deny that specialisation in the particular field of klowledges if very good thing. It goes without saying that so called narrow spesialists with deep and strong experience in their area of activity are quite valuable for the companies. They usually work in very important positions in the personal offices or laboratories, have excellent work condition, long term contract with famous and respectable companies, let alone the big wages and range of bonuses. They reach some outstanding results and often become autors of breakthroughs in their fields.

In a word, deep concentration and specialisation in a work activity would be absolutely perfect idea as long as we have a deal with growns up.

Nonetheless this educational strategy is unacceptable for school children.

As a matter the fact is school students don't have any defined vision of their future, their special abilities, talants and so on. As a result of narrow education technology (NET) they can choose their development parth incorrectly under compulse of emotions or some another factors. Thus they might spend years studying subjects they are not interested in. This is a way to some learning difficulties, depression or even mental problems.

Pondering options of educational strategies I have came to conclusion that NET have more negative factors than wide range education (WRE). In my opinion this is the only way to discover pupil's special nature abilities, interests, gifts and choose appropriate area for further specialisation at a university or colleges.

Some people think that schools should choose ыегвуеты according to their academic abilities. Others don't agree. Discuss both points of view and give your own opinion.

Everything in our life has two sides. Choosing students by treir abilities is not an exception.

On one hand all people in our society have the equal rights. If somebody wants to study the antique Rome history nobody can stop him or her. That means everyone can shoose the way of his or her studying and personal development. However if we look at this situation from the other point of view we will have to admit that person's special abilities play a significant role in educational process.

It is clear as a day that each man has his own particular set of individual abilities, gifts and preferences. If all students learn the same subject's range at school the will be the big gap between them in studying one subject and opposite gap in studying other one. For example, secause of special physical and mental abilities some students could have excellent results in studying math, physics and chemistry but absolutely unacceptable rating in history, biology and music subjects.

It doesn't mean they are stupid. The point is those subjects are not their cap of tea. That seems, for instance, that Motcart that known as a great musician and compouser, was a bad soccer player and Adnold Shwartcnegger is the wery weak painter. Moreover if school punish students for their weak results in some particular subjects it will be the reason of a depression or even some mental problems.

Reflecting different points of view about this topic I have came to conclusion that it would be good idea for schools to choose students according to theyr academic abilities and teach them deeply in certain cpecial area of knowledges.
